Where should I place my houseplants? I picked up some gorgeous new houseplants on my visit to Squires a couple of weeks ago 🪴 Here’s what I got and my tips on positioning them in your house! 1. Prickly Pear Cactus, aka Opuntia Microdasys.This desert cactus loves bright, direct sunshine. Place yours on a south-facing windowsill to give it the best treatment. This plant can withstand temperatures as low as 4 degrees c, so don’t worry about draughts. 2. Anthurium Andraenum.Loves indirect light, so place in a north or east facing position where it gets plenty of light. Kitchens and bathrooms are ideal as they love moisture. 3. Philodendron Brasil.Plenty of light, but not so much that you burn its leaves! Place yours in a north or east facing window, or a metre from a south or west facing window.
