Meet Ivka - the forest dormouse on widlife rehab. May 19. 2018. - a forest dormouse arrived at the Center "Key" animal rescue center. She was found as a baby in the summer of 2017. She was probably attacked by a predator and was found on the streets. Our friend Ivana Grmoja took care of her for the past 10 months. The dormouse is now an adult and since this is a forest dormouse, a wild species, the time has come to adapt her for returning to her natural home. She is now in an outdoor enclosure for widlife rehab and will be released back to nature as soon as she is ready. --- Center for Active Animal and Nature Protection "Key" Center "Key" is a non-profit, non-govermental, all-volunteer based animal rescue center located near Zagreb in Croatia.
