2022 Revel Mt. Charleston Race Recap

Well, I finished my 10th marathon at Revel Canyon Mt. Charleston Marathon in 3:37:11, a BQ and a new PR for me. Of course, the So Cal weather followed me to Charleston, but the heat at the finish wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I did dump water on my head through out the race and I think that helped. There was a slight headwind too, which also kept things cooler. The elevation at the start is 7,600 ft., something I forgot to mention in the video. I loved this race! This is my personal race recap. Here are my splits (8:59, 7:46, 7:42, 7:28, 7:55, 8:02, 7:11, 7:14, 7:13, 7:52, 7:38, 7:58, 7:53, 7:52, 7:47, 8:08, 8:38, 8:05, 8:48, 8:17, 9:03, 9:32, 11:02 (saw husband), 9:32, 9:15, .32=8:17) Not sure if I could've changed anything in the beginning to go faster at the end. The course just doesn't lend itself to a negative split. Not saying you can't, but it's not easy.
