The rebuilding of a muscle car can be daunting. I needed some inspiration and the Mad Scientist of Mustangs was only a two hour drive from me. So, I went and saw Mr. Finley Ledbetter of Blue Oval Car Barn. I got to check out his collection and even interview the man himself! He finds, rebuilds and collects the absolute top of the Mach 1 performance cars to amazing standards. Anyone rebuilding a Mach 1 out there needs to take the time to go by and check out what they are doing. After that, I went to the City of Lawn Keepers Car Club of West Texas Car Show and had a great day of seeing fantastic cars of all kinds. It gave me a chance to reflect on what I like about Car Culture. You can visit Blue Oval Car Barn most weekends. I highly recommend calling first. The Mad Scientist is always very busy.
