For me, its Essex Boys, for some its everyday wafting transport for many nowadays its actually a huge business. the aftermarket styling and tuning, the fact that the cars are so affordable now then opens up the true off road retailers too. Of course the vehicles have come a long, long way and the 2014 models are as far from these vessels as you can get. The nice thing is however the styling cues and elements such as the split folding tail gate remain...although now its all done at the touch of a button. This particular 4x4 really was in pristine condition. the lump under the engine shook her from side to idle when under heavy throttle. The cabin despite its years, was in near showroom condition and hosted a range of gadgets and gizmos to make any journey a pleasure. I have a definite soft spot for all Landy's and a classic in good nick always has space on my drive!
