When you install a tool extension you can't properly add a keyboard shortcut the conventional way. You must create a macro that'll first execute to the subselect tool 'A' and then your tool command. Without switching to subselect tool first, as soon as you release the command key, your tool will be deselected. This'll fix that issue and keep your workflow as fast as using default flash tools. Link to Keyboard Maestro 6 https://www.keyboardmaestro.com/main/ I've setup my keyboard shortcuts to the following Flash CS6 regular brush Shift+B -pixel brush Cmd+Option+Shift+1 (this is just the linker shortcut Keyboard Maestro will have the actual shortcut you'll use) -regular eraser Shift-E -pixel eraser Cmd+Option+Shift+2 (same concept as pixel brush) In Keyboard Maestro (I created a group/folder only available in Flash) In the folder I have -Pixel Brush Macro w/ trigger B that types the keystroke A and another that types the keystroke Cmd+Option+Shift+1 (to link to the flash command previously set) -Pixel Eraser Macro w/ trigger E that types the keystroke A and another that types the keystroke Cmd+Option+Shift+2 (shortcut for the pixel eraser command in flash)
