Fue el undécimo presidente de la Nación Argentina por ser el vicepresidente en ejercicio en 1890, cuando asumió la presidencia del país como consecuencia de la renuncia de Miguel Juárez Celman tras los sucesos conocidos como Revolución del Parque, hasta completar el mandato en 1892. July 17, 1906) was an Argentine lawyer, journalist, public translator and politician who served in the Legislature National and the Ministry of War and Navy and was elected vice president of the Argentine Nation in 1886. He was the eleventh president of the Argentine Nation for being the acting vice president in 1890, when he assumed the presidency of the country as a result of the resignation of Miguel Juárez Celman after the events known as the Revolution of the Park, until completing the mandate in 1892.
