In this video, I take a look at the new Gadigal Sydney Metro station and cover its design, and provide an update on how it's looking right now. I start with the Gadigal South entrance on Bathurst Street, including the location of the Opal gates, escalators and lifts. I then cover the Indi Sydney integrated development that is being built above. It's then over to the Gadigal North entrance which is on Park Street. You'll see glimpses of the lifts and escalators, along with a bright yellow wall. I then use Sydney Metro photos and videos to give you a guided tour of Gadigal Station. It's the next best thing to being there, and you don't need to wear PPE! I then cover the Parkline place integrated commercial development that is being built above, and reveal what used to be there before construction work started. However, sometimes the information isn't available, so I'll use my railway knowledge and insight to explain something to the best of my ability. If accuracy is important, do check the comments, as other viewers will often pick up on things I've missed or any mistakes made. Also note that for older videos, things may change over time, causing some of the information to become out of date. Construction Sites, Maintenance Facilities and other Private Property All footage of construction sites, maintenance facilities and other private property is taken from a public vantage point. The only exception is if it's an open day or I have special permission to access the site. The iPhone's small lens and zoom function makes it easier to film through small gaps in hoardings or fencing, so it may look like I'm on site when I'm not! If you would like to know the exact filming location, then ask me in the comments. To get in touch: Email - [email protected] Twitter DM - twitter.com/transportvlog
