Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll learn in this Photoshop tutorial: 1️⃣ Masking to Extract Foreground From Background Learn to use the Select Subject command to automatically make selections around the main subject of your image. Then use the Quick Mask mode to refine your selections and create a mask that separates the foreground from the background. 2️⃣ Content-Aware and Cloning To Create a Clean Background Plate To create the 2.5D Parallax effect, you will need a clear background (without your main subject). To remove anything from a photo in Photoshop, you will most likely end up using the Content-Aware Fill and Clone Tool.
