In this video, we’re taking a serious look at Prophet Marcus Thomas and the disturbing pattern of behavior that has raised major concerns — especially regarding how women are being targeted. There are testimonies circulating that suggest he has singled out women in vulnerable spiritual positions and allegedly told at least one woman that “God told him” she needed to give $5,000. That kind of language is not just questionable — it’s spiritually manipulative if true. When someone claims divine authority to pressure people financially, particularly women who may already be seeking guidance, breakthrough, or emotional support, we have to stop and ask: • Is this biblical? • Is this ethical? • Is this spiritual leadership — or spiritual coercion? Throughout church history, false prophecy and financial exploitation have often gone hand in hand. The Bible clearly warns about leaders who use godly language for personal gain (2 Peter 2:3, 1 Timothy 6:5). When a “word from the Lord” conveniently comes attached to a specific dollar amount, that should raise immediate red flags. This video is not about attacking individuals — it’s about exposing unhealthy patterns and protecting people, especially women, from being manipulated under the guise of prophecy. We will discuss: The troubling $5,000 claim Patterns of targeting women The theology of prophetic giving Biblical standards for true prophetic ministry How spiritual authority can be abused Why discernment matters now more than ever If someone is using “God told me” to pressure you financially, that is not faith — that is control. The church must be a place of protection, not exploitation. If you or someone you know has experienced something similar, I encourage you to seek wise counsel, document everything, and prioritize your spiritual and emotional safety.
