Road 77 or Haraz Road, along with Road 59 (Karaj-Chalous), is the most important road Tehran-Mazandaran. This road passes through Haraz river valley and is the closest main road to Damavand peak. Haraz Road, located northeast of Tehran with a length of approximately one hundred and eighty kilometers, is the closest access road to the Caspian Sea coast and one of the crossroads that connects the capital to the north. This road is one of the most beautiful and historical roads in the world, which was chosen by the Iranian people in 1980, and after the beautiful Chalous road, it was the second most beautiful road in Iran. It also tells the history of Alborz, Damavand, Amol and Iran. Haraz road is the shortest traffic route between Tehran and Amol. Haraz road has 15 tunnels, the longest of which is more than 1500 meters long.
