How fast can we build? Sellen Construction is currently building a 42,000 square-foot, two-story Ambulatory Center for Providence Regional Center Everett located in Monroe, Washington. Construction began in November of 2012 and is scheduled to complete in August of 2013. How'd we do that? Sellen workers begin by building form walls on site in a face down configuration. After forming the shape of the panel, workers install brick, reinforced steel, embed and lifting inserts, followed by concrete that is finished smooth. Once the concrete has set, the formwork is removed and the panel is ready for erection. Crane positions around the building have been carefully engineered to place each panel it into its final location.
