In this powerful message, Pst. Eliud Nduye teaches on God’s process of empowerment for divine assignment. God does not rush His servants; He calls us to wait, be trained, and be equipped before stepping into what He has assigned. Power is the capacity and ability to do something, including the ability to influence, and true empowerment comes from God alone. Empowerment is God giving authority and capacity to accomplish an assignment we could never fulfill by our own strength. God looks for people who are available, then He trains them and empowers them to accomplish His purpose. Before God empowers us, the Holy Spirit works deeply in our hearts through three key processes: spiritual formation, realignment, and brokenness. Spiritual formation is where God shapes our character before releasing His power. Even when we feel ready, God calls us to wait patiently as the Holy Spirit builds character, producing fruit that serves the Kingdom and not personal ambition. Realignment happens when God asks us to wait so our thoughts, desires, and purpose align with His will. God does not empower a misaligned purpose, because power without alignment can destroy destiny. Good ambition must still be aligned with God’s purpose, as divine empowerment rests on those who walk in alignment with Him. Brokenness is the final and crucial work of the Holy Spirit. God desires a broken heart that seeks no personal gain. Brokenness is spiritual openness, where God humbles and reshapes us before entrusting us with His power. Before God releases His power, He breaks us so we can not only carry that power but also steward it faithfully.
