Rotational Casting Material Considerations With BJB Enterprises

Rotational casting considerations for molds and materials with ‪@bjbenterprises‬ Troy from BJB Enterprises discussed moldmaking and materials as they relate to rotational casting on my recent visit to California. In this video we go over some mold considerations, some material considerations, and some of the basic knowledge of rotational casting. One of the things we discussed was their recent cast of a Rocketeer helmet and how the mold and casts were made. Troy printed the original 3D pattern and then molded it using TC-5130F platinum silicone. The fin on the top of the helmet was cast separate from an additional TC-5130F cut block mold. In a followup video I will show the entire casting process of both resin parts.
