Don't be intimidated by the word - Logarithms are quite simple to understand and they are very useful in science and engineering. In fact, logarithms were invented for the purpose of simplifying more complex calculations. In this video, I explain what is meant by the expression log(1000) = 3, or log_2(64) = 6.
