Under Pressure - Forum Theatre on Teen Overwhelm and Resilience

The Poetic Justice Theatre Ensemble created "Under Pressure" an interactive theatre performance and community dialogue on teen overwhelm, survival and resilience. Performed in Port Townsend, Washington in 2019 at the local high school, middle school and community center to engage youth, families and community members. The performance in this video is co-facilitated by youth leader Hannah Bahls and Poetic Justice Co Director Marc Weinblatt. Poetic Justice Theatre Ensemble is a multi-generational (teens to elders), multi-ethnic group of actor/activists who use interactive theatre techniques for community dialogue. Our mission is to stimulate dialogue, strengthen community connections, and invite positive social action using interactive theatre techniques of Theatre of the Oppressed and Playback Theatre. Based in Port Townsend, WA, USA, it is a program of the Mandala Center for Change.
