Day 18 of the Coffee Advent Calendar 2025! ☕ Today I’m brewing a natural carbonic maceration coffee from Brazil roasted by Frukt. I started with the Orea V4 Wide to experiment with water temperature, but drainage issues made it clear this wasn’t the right coffee for that approach. I then switched to the Kalita Sagan for faster drawdown and a cleaner cup, but it lacked mouthfeel. Finally, I brewed it with the AeroPress to keep similar extraction while improving texture.
