Mid-Day Sunrail, CSX & Amtrak Railfanning at Meadow Woods FT: CSX 1976, 109, 100 & More!

Hey Everyone! During my winter break, I visited Florida again, and while most of my time wasn't spent railfanning, I did go railfanning twice. The first time I went, I spent the day at Meadow Woods, and the second time, I spent roughly 2 hours at Poinciana. This video covers the mid day action at Meadow Woods on Monday January 20th, 2025. The next video will cover the evening rush at Meadow Woods on the same day. I decided to go on this particular day because the previous day CSX C040 had came in with 1976 (Conrail HU) and I suspected it would be leaving the next day on E040 after the Sunrail morning rush. So I decided I would get there at 10:00 a.m. so I could also catch M457. Unfortunately, due to traffic, I missed M457, but there was no notable units on it so it wasn't a big deal missing it. Shortly after arriving I heard over my scanner a CSX train calling over the radio and a K5HL horn in the distance. A little later I heard the train identity itself as E040 with the 1976 and said they would be ready to go off the Stanton Spur in a few minutes. While I knew 1976 would not be leading it was still nice to see. Anyways, besides E040 and the usual Sunrail trains I also saw Amtrak 41, 97 & 98. 98 had 306 which was my first time seeing a Phase VI Charger. Around 2 p.m., I left the station for a late lunch before returning around 3:30 for the evening rush. Stay tuned for part two with the evening rush coming next week.
