Hello Everybody, From you series of Memories "Father and Daughter" building a cello here we are glueing the linings, preparing the spruce wood and working on the scroll! Wile preparing the top for this cello we also found a "canale resinoso". And we were discussing things to do to and how to solve the problem. Many times in violinmaking we find "surprises" inside the wood along the way and we have to take decisions on what to do. About the scroll, my father Paolo is a cello maker and he works at the scroll like if it is a sculpture. I have filmed all the process he takes to carve a scroll and saved it in lessons in a video course. I manly did this for me. To have a resource to go and look at forever. I have decided to share it.
