This is by far the most interesting cave mission on EDF 6. It could be done on Hardest without many issues and it was quite fun, but on Inferno it's a whole new ball game. The basics of the mission are destroying a huge hive inside a big cave, protected by 10 small hives (that spawn red bees on inferno) and a giant bee. However, there are important changes in Inferno on the mission: after the first huge wave of bees is spawned from the huge hive, delivering more damage to it will spawn a wave of androids and 3 red super androids from a cave behind your starting point after the second huge wave of bees is spawned from the huge hive, delivering more damage to it will spawn a wave of nakers and 2 red super nakers from a cave behind the huge hive from the starting point of view There are 2 possible strategies to deal with the mission. Either by staying on top of the cave around the start position, or going to the bottom and trying to deal with all enemies there. Although there is a cave mid-way to the bottom it's very hard to deal with the mission by staying there. The Ranger is the class that has the easiest life to do this mission by staying at the bottom of the cave. For weapons, I used the level 80 Orchid X900, level 81 Grant MTX, level 79 ZEXRs and level 66 Probe Type 5. You can exchange the MTX for the Reverse Shooter X, it will make your life a LOT easier but it's not as fun. Mission flow is a lot different from staying up. First, you should destroy the hives that won't aggro the Queen. It's the one just under the ledge going down, and the 4 upper ones. Capture all NPC squads. Hope that until now Queen is still not aggroed. When the Queen bee is aggroed or hit, a large wave will spawn from the huge hive. Deal with the queen bee, bees and all small hives. Do damage to the huge hive until it crumbles. Once you'll deal some small damage after this a huge wave will spawn, from the top right and middle left (see video). Well-placed missiles will kill most spawning bees. Also, use the ledges above as exploding points for missiles. From this point on, the huge hive will always spawn a small number of bees continuously. Once just this pack is alive hit again the huge hive, the Androids wave will spawn in a small cave near the start position. The only dangerous ones are the 3 red ones, deal with them ASAP. After this damage again huge hive until another crumble happens. Position yourself in a good spot (see video, use ZEXRs this time to avoid hitting stray bees with missiles), hit the hive and use missiles to destroy most of the huge wave. AVOID hitting the huge hive. Once things return to as normal as possible, go under the hive in the back left (see video). Avoid picking crates in the lower area, they can come handy in a few secs. This is the best position to handle the Nakers wave. Hit hive, and wait for Nakers to arrive before deploying ZEXRs. When possible concentrate on the 2 red Nakers, but don't be picky. If possible and necessary pick crates that should be around to feed NPCs (and you). I hit too much the hive and the 3rd large wave triggered before I wanted. The best position to handle would have been the same as for the first one. There's no major issue and you should be able to deal with it with just the machine gun and ZEXRs. Once the 3rd huge wave is gone, what remains is a walk in the park. Just destroy the hive completely, and kill remaining enemies and / or pick crates. This is not easy. Expect 70%+ of failures due to MTX self blows and 25% because of Nakers. But it's so good to destroy the bees spawns with the missiles 😋😋.
