I guess you don't want to eat barszcz with uszka? Today I have a solution for you: make something French for Polish purposes! Croquettes are usually prepared or bought only for this one soup. You don't need to listen to me, eat them however you like. But try them once with barszcz, they compliment each other extremely well. Crepe 1.5 cup of milk 1 cup of flour 1 egg 1 pinch of salt 1 tbsp veg. oil Filling 100g cheese 300g white mushrooms 1 onion salt earthy herbs Croquette ~600g filling 4 crepes 1 egg ~100g breadcrumbs 1) Prepare crepe: combine the ingredients to make a dough. Fry on a pan on high or medium heat on both sides for 1-2 minutes. 2) Prepare filling a) Dice the onion b) Grate the mushrooms and cheese c) Fry the onion and mushrooms on a pan d) combine everything once mushrooms cool down. 3) Roll them: Spread the filling on each crepe. Connect the side edges of a crepe and roll the crepe from bottom to top containing the filling and side edges inside 4) Cover pancake rolls with beaten egg and with breadcrumbs 5) Fry them on medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes on each side. Serve them with hot cup of soup. Preferably barszcz. Croquer that baby! Happy cooking!
