Welcome back to Furrreedom, where creativity meets calm mornings, studio vibes, and the quiet company of my cat, Bella. Today’s video is something special — a full hybrid timelapse & cinematic art journey where I airbrush both panels of my PS5 and transform it into a one-of-a-kind galaxy inspired by No Man’s Sky. This project tested my patience, creativity, and perseverance — and the entire process unfolded right here in my new art studio with Bella chilling on her favorite Big Joe beanbag, supervising the entire operation like the queen she is. I started with a blank PS5 shell and a vision: a sweeping cosmic nebula in deep blues, violets, magentas, and starburst highlights — and a grounded, beautiful tree on the back panel to complete the world. But the universe had other plans for the first attempt… 🌌 The Setback That Made the Final Piece Better After painting late into the night, I woke up the next morning excited to seal the piece. I grabbed my Liquitex acrylic semi-gloss — and instantly regretted it. The sealant reacted weirdly, streaking and killing the smooth gradients I spent hours layering. Instead of hiding it, I included that moment in this video — because art isn’t always perfect. Sometimes the first draft falls apart, and you pick up the airbrush, start from scratch, and create something even better than your original vision. 🎨 The Second Attempt — A Galaxy Worth the Effort On the restart, I used my Iwata airbrush, with Liquitex acrylic ink for the galaxy gradients and heavy body acrylic for the leaves of the tree. Every pass was intentional — from the deepest shadows to the luminous bursts of starlight. I made sure each color of the galaxy reached the PS5 logo in the upper right corner so the design flows naturally across the surface and feels like part of the console, not something painted on it. 📷 Cinematic Capture — 4K, Color Grading, LUTs The entire video is shot in Ultra HD/4K at 25fps on the DJI Action 5 Pro, using D-Log with LUTs and manual color grading. I adjusted white balance and exposure every 63 frames so the color stays true even while time jumps forward. Studio lighting included: GVM 200B with a Lantern Diffuser for soft overhead key light Neewer 660 Pro 2 Softbox + Grid for final hero shots Natural vignette from the studio corners for cinematic contrast The lighting and grading bring out every tiny highlight, star cluster, and transition in the galaxy. 🐾 Bella’s Cameo: Cozy Studio Energy If you’re new here, Bella is my silent co-star. She wanders in and out of frame, curls up on her Big Joe beanbag, and occasionally judges my technique with slow blinks from the corner of the room. This whole space is an extension of the calm, introverted creative life I live — quiet mornings, art, soft studio hum, and a cat who thinks she owns the place. ✨ The Final Reveal The ending cinematic shot shows the fully assembled PS5 glowing under that soft Neewer 660 Pro light. The galaxy colors shimmer. The tree silhouette feels alive. And the whole console looks like a portal to another world. I’m really proud of how it turned out — especially after the setback. Sometimes the restart is part of the art. Thanks for being here.
