I show step by step how to exercise call options on Robinhood. This video also goes into the logic of why in most cases you would not want to exercise a call. I use a stock called Hut 8 that is a bitcoin mining stock to demonstrate. I bought a deep in the money call option with a $2.50 strike price for October expiration. The price at the time was around $5.00 so I had $2.50 extrinsic value. But, the option cost $2.90 so it had about .40 cents time value. After I exercise this call option I ended up with 100 shares of Hut 8 and plan to write covered calls against the 100 shares.
