She also discusses how she found a position in her career field with the help of UMA’s Career Services. Watch our other video testimonials to learn more about life as an Ultimate Medical Academy online student. http://www.UltimateMedical.edu Transcript: What inspired me to go back to school is I was pregnant with my son, and I was actually working at a restaurant, and I knew that I needed to do something to provide a better situation for my son and myself. The challenges that I faced about going back to school was mostly being a first-time single mother raising my son, going to school, working, trying to juggle all that in one take. I knew it was going to be a challenge, but with the support of my family and their encouragement I knew I was able to do it. I've always had a passion for helping people, so when I actually got in touch with the school and they contacted me, I was very intrigued about what the school actually had to offer. I did work with Career Services—in fact, Career Services actually were the ones that found the job that I am currently employed with now. I am very happy I decided to choose UMA to further my career and to actually go into a health care field where I have been struggling, trying to get into the field because I was lacking the experience, but with the education that I obtained, I opened more doors than I thought could ever be possible.
