Currently about a quarter of the Vigilante's homing/lock-on range had been reduced albeit for (OP) balancing. Nonetheless it is still a very effective tool in making ALL GTAO heist setups and finales (when allowed/available for selection) a lot easier even when played on hard difficulty/setting. However you may have to take extra care as having the car destroyed by your own fault will cost you a staggering GTA$20,000 for the insurance. It would be almost like playing any of the heist setups without being given your share of the bounty. ★ There is an earlier method doing this finale using the #ArmouredKaruma but taking the #GrottiVigilante instead makes things a lot more easier. Take this Tim Burton #Batmobile (the Vigilante) inspired vehicle just outside the #BolingbrokePenitentiary and park it next to the "speed limit sign" which is located before the security gate. Just be careful not to go too close to the security post or you'll alert the guard and fail the mission. In case of a restart (for any reason) and the Prison Officer is the one who took the Vigilante (like in my case), the Prisoner then drives the car to the location (ideally) following the bus from behind. ★ It is important that the player who will not fetch the Vigilante will go up the rooftops (and not follow the other player to the guard post) to trigger the (rooftop) checkpoints. This will make things a lot easier for the driver of the Vigilante to use the side gates to access the compound. If both players get in the car, the gate will NOT open and the checkpoints will have to be manually done by going all the way back on the opposite side (first rooftop checkpoint) as seen here in 17:00. ★ As soon as the Vigilante triggers the series of checkpoints, proceed as normal but with caution as the car's windows are much bigger than usual and are not protected by any kind of armoured plating unlike the Karuma. Heal up with snacks and always top-up armour when necessary. The Vigilante should make dealing with the #NOOSE a cakewalk and #MaximRashkovsky's escort could just wait behind cover for things to clear up during the first courtyard encounter, especially if for some reason they are low on ammo or can't top up their HP due to the absence of snacks. ★ Go back the way you came in via the water tank (the only way in and out the compound with a vehicle) and try to use the homing missiles accurately as the second wave of enemies will see the Vigilante end up short of homing missiles if wasted - as it can only carry 30. The most important targets are the guards on the roof. Both players may square it off with the few NOOSE remaining towards the end of the prison escape. ★ As for the Pilot, it is important that he leaves LSIA with just 2.5 mins left if he is an efficient pilot, or 3.0 mins if he struggles a bit. In case the Pilot arrives late, it is the responsibility of the Prison Officer/Prisoner to NOT finish off the last few NOOSE - prior to escaping in the armoured van. This will fail the mission as the Pilot must be at Sandy Shores airstrip when the crew extracts Rashkovsky from Bollingbroke. With 1-2 enemies left, it would be easier to just hide behind cover until the plane reaches the #SandyShoresAirfield. In a way arriving late may somehow be beneficial for as soon as the ground crew boards the armoured van, the jets will start crashing down and the pilot would not have to deal with them as much as they would if they followed the proper schedule. In the event the pilot arrives very early and the Demolition crew hasn't taken the #NagasakiBuzzard yet, the #JobuiltVelum CAN avoid getting shot down by the jets by just TAILING them from behind. The Lazers cannot shoot from behind. But with the swiftness of the ground team to finish off the prison break using the Vigilante, by the time the Velum arrives the vicinity (assuming the pilot leaves at 2.30 mins left as suggested earlier) the jets will no longer need to spawn. Even a low-levelled player can pull-off with this method as seen here: • GTAO Heist: Prison Break | Finale (Pilot) ★ The Demolition crew's job will have to focus on blowing up all the police in pursuit especially at the air strip, and not damage the plane at all.
