Nob Hill, NW Portland, Oregon Continuing our exploration of cool Portland neighborhoods, we make our next stop on House Hunter PDX in the great Nob Hill district. One of the older neighborhoods of Portland, when you visit Nob Hill, you'll see glamorous Queen Annes and Victorians nestled among cool vintage apartment and condo buildings surrounded by modern boutiques and some of Portland's hottest eateries. Nob Hill has been one of Portland's most desirable neighborhoods throughout it's history - as far back as the 1800's it was a neighborhood for the fashionable and coveted. Today the neighborhood's focal point is 23rd Avenue, where you'll find such Portland hot spots as Salt & Straw, Blue Star Donuts, St. Jacks and more. Nearby is Portland's emerald jewel, Forest Park where you'll find hundreds of trails as well as some of Portland's top sites: Pittock Mansion, the International Rose Test Garden, The Japanese Garden, The Portland Zoo and so much more.
