Ilary Montanari was born in 1989 in Puglia, a land with breath-taking landscapes, colours and smells and deep contrasts, that marked Ilary’s fate. Puglia’s rythm, shades, sounds and ancestral customes gives her the very love for the music. Bologna adopted her in 2005. Ilary had been a regular for years in the most famous clubs of the city such as Kinky, Matis, Cassero, Ruvido, Capannina and Dok and there she started to be influenced by the underground sounds of the best Italian and internationl DJ’s mixing in that famous places, under the shadow of the famous two Bologna towers. In 2013, Ilary left the dance floor to start her adventure behind the consolle. Vynil become her obsession. She learnt all the old school techniques until she didn’t became literally an expert with Technics 1210. She spent the whole year to improve her skills and to define her unique, personal music taste.
