Jaleel White -- the indelible 'Steve Urkel' on the beloved TV sitcom "Family Matters" and the voice of "Sonic the Hedgehog" -- discusses his career, reveals funny behind-the-scenes stories and answers fan questions at his 2019 Toronto ComiCon panel. Jaleel Ahmad White (born November 27th, 1976) is an American screen and voice actor, as well as a producer and a writer. He was also the voice of the animated character 'Sonic the Hedgehog' in "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," "Sonic SatAM," "Sonic Underground" and the 2013 Sonic fan film. White starred in the UPN series "Grown Ups" from 1999 to 2000. He later attended UCLA where he graduated with a degree in film and television in 2001. White has continued his acting career with roles in films like "Dreamgirls" (2006), and with guest stints on television series such as "Boston Legal," "House" and "Psych." In March 2012, he appeared as a contestant in season 14 of "Dancing with the Stars" and in April 2012, White hosted Syfy's game show "Total Blackout." White will reprise his role in the upcoming 2019 series "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?"
