Full unedited session from Edge Addicts at COTA on March 8th 2026. Setup: 2025 Porsche 911 GT3RS Pirelli Trofeo RS tires (100TW) PFC "Track Day" brake kit Suspension Secrets camber blocks Maxed out stock camber adjustments (~2.7 front, ~2.1 rear) Frone toe zeroed, rear slightly positive PASM 0/0/0/0 (baseline) PTV (+2 power, -2 coast) Saturday was rained out all day, so didn't get any respectable lap times, but had fun playing in the rain. Sunday was mostly clear, with just a few sprinkles on occasion. This was my second session for the day, just after lunch. My dad and I traded off sessions in the car all day between White (Very Advanced) and Orange (Instructor) run groups. This was the Orange session, immediately following my dad running in White. This means the tires were already warmed up and ready to go, at about 30psi hot. We just put a set of fresh Trofeo RS tires on before this event, and had minimal wear Saturday due to the rain. The first lap was a feeler, as there was a light sprinkle (note the auto wipers going off). The track felt good, so second lap I started to push. Unfortunately, on the second lap, despite having a 2;13 on the dash, I got held up in the carousel and lost ~2 seconds, resulting in a 2;15. Don't mind the words said--I was a bit perturbed by the hold up... The third lap was not clean for the first half, being down about half a second from the previous lap. However, mid carousel, the delta quickly shifted back to negative, and finished with a 2;14.12. Fourth lap I had another 2;13 on the dash, then hit some more traffic coming into 9. The driver was very quick to give me a point after getting a little squirmy, but I still had to lift to not make a potentially dangerous pass, ending with a 2;16 Fifth lap was looking pretty good, with a high ;13 on the dash before coming into 15 and hitting some more traffic. Mid carousel really killed the momentum, and came across a second down again at 2;14.95. Last lap, the brakes didn't feel right coming into 11 and 12 (overshot 12 a bit). I noticed reduced braking (didn't feel like fade or sponginess, just reduced bite), so figured it should be the last lap. I wanted to finish the lap, being careful to feel for anything that felt REALLY off. Hit some more traffic in 15 again, but still clicked off a 2;16 for the final lap. After coming back in, the right rear pad had worn to the backing plate from so many back to back sessions. Laps: 1: 2;16.24 [2:17] 2: 2;15;46 [4:33] 3. 2;14.12 [6:48] 4. 2;16.47 [9:03] 5: 2;14.95 [11:20] 6. 2;16.74 [13:35]
