I didn't know this show had an actual name until I looked it up in my Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2002 guide map, and it said "Wild West Christmas Show". This show always had me cracking up laughing, and if you watch old videos of the Golden Horseshoe Review (Disneyland) this show has the spirit of those performances. I loved this show, but there were other shows at the party that I liked better, so this was not an every year show I watched. It replaced "Miss Minnie's Country Christmas" which played at the Horseshoe in the 1990s. The "Wild West Christmas Show" was listed in the 2000-2002 guide maps. In 2003 it became "Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree Celebrates the Holidays Show". The regular Diamond Horseshoe Review, a Magic Kingdom staple since opening day, ran until February 1, 2003. This was filmed one month before the show would say good-bye for good! Sometimes quick service food would be open here. In this home video you will see... 0:08 ACT I: Sing-along acoustic guitar player Mark King. He has hilarious interactions with the guests and plays “Ghost Riders in the Sky”, “Winter Wonderland”, “Silver Bells”, “Deck the Halls”, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, “Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer” (in his UNDERWEAR? NO!!). Piano player "Jingles" comes out at the end of this act. 16:10 ACT II: Comedy magician "Diamond" Jack Ekan. He performs "the napkin trick" with a young toddler from the audience. Very funny performance. The girl has to go potty at the end and wants Jack to hurry it up. Jingles helps out on the piano. 30:00 ACT III: Singer Miss Caroline. She walks around the audience and belts out Christmas hits like “There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays” and “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”. 34:20 FINALE: Full cast comes out and sings “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas (from the Diamond Horseshoe)”.
