Rooted & Growing Chapter 7 - Christ & Culture

We are excited to announce our next churchwide series called Rooted and Growing. With recent challenges in the United Methodist Church the reality is that many faithful members of our congregation hold different perspectives on important topics of faith. This raises an important question: How do we, as a vibrant and thriving United Methodist congregation, discern and hold close the things that are most important to our mission and ministry together? During the season of Lent, we are going to explore this question through the lens of our Methodist heritage. Our series will include weekly readings from the book, “Recapturing the Wesley’s Vision,” sermons from our pastors and discussion through Sunday School classes. This video features content from Chapter 7, Christ & Culture with insights from church staff, Jim Lewis and Reed Collum Our Wesleyan heritage provides us tools to maintain connection in the face of polarization. Through this study, our goal is to be ROOTED in the core tenets of our Christian faith as we anticipate GROWING together in what it means to follow the way of Jesus.
