COMEX registered silver has fallen to 87.1 million ounces. Five months ago, total COMEX inventories stood at 532 million ounces. Today they've dropped to roughly 352 million — a 31% decline in four months. The coverage ratio — the percentage of paper claims that could be settled with deliverable metal — has fallen to 15.4%. The COMEX Stress Index reads 78 out of 100, approaching the all-time high of 88. These are not predictions. These are numbers published daily by the CME Group. In this video, I walk through every data point from the COMEX warehouse reports as of March 3-4, 2026. I explain registered vs eligible silver, paper leverage ratios, delivery activity across January through March, and what the May 2026 contract with 385 million ounces in open interest means for the months ahead. But unlike most silver channels, I also present the bear case. I cover the 2011 comparison, when COMEX inventories actually ballooned after the price spike. I address the 265 million ounces of eligible silver that could be converted. And I explain why some analysts see zero chance of a COMEX default. Both sides. Real data. No hype. ══════════════════════════════════════════════ 📊 VERIFIED DATA IN THIS VIDEO: 🔴 Registered Silver: 87.1M oz — down 16.2% in 30 days (Mar 3, 2026) 🔴 Eligible Silver: 265.1M oz — down 12.1% in 30 days 🔴 Total Inventory: ~352M oz — down 31% since October 2025 🔴 Open Interest: 564.4M oz in paper claims 🔴 Paper Leverage: 6.5× more paper than deliverable metal 🔴 Coverage Ratio: 15.4% — classified as "Tight" 🔴 Stress Index: 78/100 — all-time high is 88 🔴 January 2026 Deliveries: 64.7M oz (12,946 contracts) 🔴 May 2026 Open Interest: 385.4M oz (77,079 contracts) 🔴 30-Day Vault Outflows: 56M oz total 🔴 Depletion Estimate: ~103 trading days at current pace ══════════════════════════════════════════════ 📌 DATA SOURCES: CME Group — COMEX Silver Warehouse Stock Reports https://www.cmegroup.com/delivery_rep...
