Ruth 1:16-17 New King James Version 16 But Ruth said: “Entreat[a] me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. 17 Where you die, I will die, And there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, If anything but death parts you and me.” GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA, MY DEAR PRECIOUS FRIENDS!!! Every time I read this book of the Bible, in particular when I read these verses above, my heart is extremely challenged by it. I'm challenged and encouraged by the faith of a person, who was not an Israelite, but was willing to turn away from her people, culture, and her gods to follow the one true living God, and that speaks volumes to me. She was somebody that was willing to walk beside her mother-in-law, and be there for her, to let her know no matter what hard time she was experiencing, that she was there for her mother-in-law and that was it. Tonight, my friends, I want to share some things that God has shown me from this passage of scripture, but also especially what He showed me today, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that you will see how in God's power you can choose to say to someone who is facing hard times, “Where you go, I will go.” Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn this precious and wonderful truth for yourself! 😊 So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that these questions challenge you to want to be like Ruth to someone who is facing a difficult road. Who around you is walking a difficult road? How can you choose to walk alongside that person? I challenge all of you out there, to reach out to whoever may be suffering from a traumatic experience, or yes even a mental health issue, and let them know that you care. Right now more than ever they need you, and they need to know the love of Jesus. Don't be afraid to share the gospel with them, and let them know that they can be delivered from their sins. Be willing to walk that road with them and let them know that God will never abandon them. I also want to encourage anyone right now who is suffering from depression, trauma of the past, or any mental health issue, to not be afraid to reach out for help. There are godly, caring, and compassionate people out there who are willing to help, so don't be afraid to accept it. UNTIL WEDNESDAY: HAVE A VERY TRANQUIL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
