A video updated to 2024:    • Bologna , Marconi Airport 2024 , Italy   The new LINEA Q will debut on Monday 19 May 2025 at 3.45 am from Bologna Centrale, the shuttle that will connect Bologna's "Guglielmo Marconi" Airport with the Maggiore Hospital and which, in the morning until 5.15 am and after midnight (until 2.15 am) will extend the runs to/from the Central FS Station (Piazza Medaglie d'Oro). The frequency of the line will be 30 minutes. The main novelty of this new line, which replaces, absorbing them, other lines (940, 944 and 949), which will cease operation on Sunday 18 May, is linked to the fares. LINEA Q will, in fact, have an urban fare of €2.30 and on this line all the tickets of the urban area will be valid, including monthly and annual urban passes. As with all urban lines, the integrated fare will also be valid for holders of a Marconi Express travel ticket. The Mex ticket, if validated at the airport, also gives the right to use the urban fare on scheduled buses. Tickets can be purchased at the automatic ticket machines located in the airport and payment is also permitted on board the vehicle with a contactless bank card. Finally, it is possible to use the Roger app. At the airport, urban tickets are also available at the Carrefour store. LINEA Q, between the two termini “Airport” and “Ospedale Maggiore”, will make several stops along the route (12 towards the Airport and 8 towards Ospedale Maggiore) to which are added, when the journeys extend to the Station, the “San Pio V” stops in both directions and the “Don Minzoni – Piazza dei Martiri” stop in the direction of the FS Station. At the Ospedale Maggiore stop, you can continue towards the city center (or FS Station) with numerous bus lines in transit including 19 (at the stop on Via Marzabotto), 23, 81, 91, 86, 87, 83, 92, 576, 646 and 651. The new LINEA Q will have its daytime terminus at the TPER stop located near the main entrance to the Airport on the ground floor. After midnight, it will also stop at the Piazzale dei Servizi, still in the Airport, to allow passengers waiting for the possible replacement or supplementary Marconi Express, to have a further travel alternative when the latter ceases.
