Being BLOWN off The Beach whilst fishing Dungeness and Feeding a Fox

Come and watch another eventful fishing session, but this time at the mighty Dungeness! Perhaps its not the fishing venue it once was but it still provided us with a lot of action and a surprise visitor. It was another one of those weeks where the tides didn't really fall at a good time to be able to target a specific venue over high or low so we decided to head towards Dungeness, which is Kent's most famous fishing venue for deep water and good fish. there was a strong North Easterly wind so I decided to head round to the power station and fish the Western side of the point so that the wind was off our back but when we got there that wasn't the case! The wind was gusting around the point and blowing Mark's tripod over every five minutes. We started fishing into about 2 hours of the ebbing tide and we got bites from the off! Unfortunately it was the dreaded dogfish plague that came straight on the feed. I was hoping for a bass or flatfish or anything to break the monotony of catching dogfish and I finally broke it! nothing big but still a different species to dogfish and a small school Bass was more than welcome. The session was eventful and we fished through 60 worms in two and a half hours, we also had a visit from a very friendly fox.
