Hello and welcome to Mount Buller -- the resort where you really will feel on top of the world! In just 3 hours you can drive from Melbourne and be up in the snow! But before you hit the snow, you'll need all of the correct gear. If it's your first time visiting us, and you're wondering how to hire your snow equipment, it's simple: You can hire snow gear both in Mansfield and on the mountain at any one of our 7 Buller Sports outlets. You'll pass our HUGE Buller Sports Store on your way into Mansfield which is a great place to get it all in one easy stop, including lift passes. Snow chains for your vehicle are available to hire from this store. Mt Buller's wheel chain requirements are decided on a daily basis by the resort management. You can check the Mt Buller website, the Mt Buller iPhone App, or call 5777 6077 for the latest requirements. We also have ski hire available on the mountain at the Horse Hill car park and up in the Village. When hiring any equipment you must have a credit card for security -- just in case any rental gear gets lost or broken. 
 First, fill out the rental hire form. Our staff will ask you if you need any snow clothing. Waterproof pants, warm jackets and walking boots are all available for hire. Toboggans are also available and are good fun. If you're skiing or snowboarding, you'll be fitted for boots. Then you'll be given your skis and poles, or your snowboard, and safety equipment including a helmet and wrist guards. You can also hire lockers to store all of your belonging while you're out on the snow. Once you have all of your gear, head to the cashier. You can also buy your lift and lesson tickets while you're there! And make sure that you check out the great range of snow gear available. Our retail and rental stores sell all the latest goggles, beanies and gloves for all types of budgets. At the end of the day, simply return your equipment back to the store. As you can see, it's easy to hire your snow equipment and there is lots of help if you need it!
