ASPECT RATIO: THE RATIO OF VERTICAL POINTS TO THE HORIZONTAL POINTS NECESSARY TO PRODUCE EQUAL LENGTH LINES IN BOTH DIRECTIONS ON THE SCREEN. 2. FRAME BUFFER: THE MEMORY WHREIN THE PICTURE DEFINITION IS STORED IS KNOWN AS FRAME BUFFER(REFRESH BUFFER). THIS M/M AREA HOLDS THE SET OF INTENSITY VALUES FOR ALL THE SCREEN POINTS. TYPES OF DISPLAYS: 1. A CRT monitor displays color pictures by using a combination of phosphors that emit different-colored light. By combining the emitted light from the different phosphors, a range of colors can be generated.
