Wheel of Misfortune by Aware. in Las Vegas

The Wheel of Misfortune is an interesting art piece located northeast of Las Vegas at the defunct Three Kids Mine. It was created in 2012 by street artist, Aware. and his crew inside a 250 foot diameter thickener pit. I was looking for a cool place to photograph while in Las Vegas for a conference. Low and behold I found an article on VitalVegas.com which lead me to the Wheel of Misfortune alongside Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson. I checked the Hover app to see if that area was a no-fly zone for drones. Thankfully it wasn't, so off I went! It was great to get a little urban exploration in while on my trip to Las Vegas.
