In todays video, I show my process for building a pond with a waterfall for frogs! The specific frog species in particular is the Baja California tree frog (Pseudacris hypochondriaca hypochondriaca). This frog is native to California and spans from south Santa Barbara and the Channel Islands to Nevada and Baja California. The tadpoles were collected from a local stream and is still placed in it’s natural habitat. The pond also includes cherry shrimp, mosquito fish, bladder snails, and ramshorn snails. I will be feeding the fish tropical flakes and the tadpoles algae wafers. DIY setting up a pond!
