SYML Performs Live at the Leon Loft (2023)

On February 7, 2023, indie pop artist SYML, joined us at the Leon Loft for an intimate live performance and interview with Acoustic Cafe's, Rob Reinhart. Former Barcelona vocalist Brian Fennel currently performs under the solo project SYML, which is Welsh for “simple”(pronounced "sim-muhl"), inspired by his own personal heritage. SYML’s stripped-down synth sounds combined with smooth violin riffs and melodic vocal harmonies complement each other the way peanut butter compliments jelly, and the outcome sounds anything but “stripped-down”. During his time on Acoustic Cafe, SYML performed renditions of “Believer”, Tragic Magic”, “You and I”, and “Corduroy” from his newest album The Day My Father Died (2023).
