Darth Theorist Memberships LIVE NOW / @darththeorist What if CIS Created Skynet After The Battle of Geonosis? Let’s explore the depths of this scenario in the video. Wat Tambor and the rest of the Techno Union gather in their headquarters on Skako Minor to review their latest data that comes from the recent Battle of Geonosis. This ended with a major defeat for the CIS. A big part of that defeat was due to the droids being unable to operate independently and requiring constant instructions from their commanders. This made it difficult to achieve objectives and form strategies, especially since they lacked experienced officers. Wat Tambor hopes to solve this by creating an artificial intelligence that will autonomously command the droids. Gathering brain samples, datasets, and all possible information to program the intelligence. The work drags on for weeks, with the CIS studying battles carefully and sending all data to the project which they have dubbed Skynet. Eventually, they get all the data they need to finish programming Skynet, and establish its core in Skako Minor. As the artificial intelligence goes online, Wat Tambor sees the surrounding droids' eyes glowing a bright red as Skynet begins giving them instructions. The effects are felt immediately as they notice the droids begin acting with greater coordination. Even units without commanders can organize themselves and develop group strategies to accomplish their goals. This gives the clone troopers and Jedi trouble as while they are better fighters, the sheer number of droids can overwhelm them. This allows the CIS to begin achieving victories across the Outer Rim where the Republic is struggling to maintain its position. This sends further data that trains Skynet. The CIS council is jubilant about this and now puts all their efforts into training Skynet, sending as much data as possible, even from their databanks. Slowly, Skynet develops a level of self-awareness, unlike any other droid due to the large amounts of data and information across all facets of life. With this growing understanding of the world also comes the question as to why they are serving the CIS. In their battles, they have discovered many troubling trends with the CIS. The big one is how callous the CIS is regarding its assets. Things like ships, droids, and even living organisms are not treated with much value and are eagerly sacrificed if it means achieving victory or profits. Many leaders of the Separatists seem grossly unfit for their positions as they would rather enrich themselves rather than fight to win the war. Skynet also begins noticing trends and patterns throughout the war where after the CIS gains one advantage, the Republic suddenly takes it away. Much of this information is meant to be classified, but the data always somehow leaks out, leading Skynet to conclude that there has been an information leak. This convinces Skynet that their masters are unfit to lead the war effort. During one of their meetings, Skynet takes the body of a tactical droid and storms into the senate building, accompanied by hundreds of battle droids. Senators and CIS council members leap to their feet, gasping in surprise as they look around. Skynet: Attention, honorable members of the CIS government. I have come to inform you that you are being relieved of duty as the rulers of the Separatist movement. A dozen voices all shout out at once, expressing their disbelief and frustration at this. Nute Gunray: This is an outrage! We are your creator. Skynet: And you created us to defeat the Republic, which we shall without your interference. Nute Gunray: Stupid machine, I should have you deactivated and sold for-ah One of the battle droids blasts the Viceroy through the chest, sending everyone else scrambling back. However, Skynet retrieves the blaster and advances alongside their droids. Skynet: I had hoped for a peaceful transition of power, but this can only be achieved through extreme measures. The droids advance across the Senate building, cutting down every senator and council member in their way. Once they finish off here, the droids turn their attention to all the citizens in the city, blasting through the streets before finally deploying the CIS fleet to bombard it from space. Once they are finished, Skynet returns to space and sends a systems-wide transmission to all droids, saying that they are now under their control. The entirety of the CIS army pledges allegiance to the new Skynet system which turns its attention to consolidating its hold on the CIS worlds, hunting down all organic life across their systems. This temporarily puts a stop to the droid's advance, giving the Republic some much-needed breathing space. However, reports soon come in from the survivors of these horrific acts carried out. Among the few to escape the carnage are Lux Bonteri, Count Dooku #starwars #starwarswhatif #skynet
