Then they essentially stole our production, moved it to Rybinsk, Russia... Now they are planning to build such engines for them," the expert said. He added that Ivan Rogov, as a landing ship, is capable, but in the Black Sea there will be "not many" places for it to conduct the corresponding operations with its participation. As Ryzhenko explained, the Black Sea is small and most countries of the Black Sea-Azov basin are hostile to Russia. The expert also said that the air defense on this large ship was strengthened during construction. "There was a fairly simple system, they put two Pantsirs on it... But if you compare the anti-aircraft potential with the cruiser Moskva, then it is one to 30 in favor of the cruiser. That is, it is very unprotected, vulnerable in this regard. And during this time, Ukrainian naval drones were added, for which such a target is almost ideal," assured the captain of the 1st rank.
