Once you've gone to the courthouse, you're out in the wide world, so go collect those assets wherever they are. Beneficiary designations may be all you need to do. So maybe there's no formal administration. Uh, if you need to transition an asset from a bank, like a bank account to a beneficiary, well, you'll take letters of administration letters, testamentary. Order admitting the will is of title, small estate affidavit. Whatever you've got is your official paperwork to claim that asset. You're gonna be at the bank, the financial institution, whatever that custodian is. You'll be doing probate work there. Finally, you may be at a government office.
