For a long time in Jurassic World Alive’s early history, one particular meta dominated the battlefield: the Immunity Meta. From version 1.9 through 1.14, creatures that could ignore the game’s core mechanics rose to the very top, creating one of the most dangerous and oppressive eras the game has ever seen. In this video, we’re taking a deep dive back into that time period. We’ll be looking at the creatures that defined the meta, the systems that amplified their power (including the infamous Indoraptor Gen 2 as well as the Prime Boost Era), and how these mechanics shaped competitive play in the early days of Jurassic World Alive. While many players remember this era fondly as part of the game’s “first golden age,” it also pushed the balance of the game to its limits. Some creatures became nearly unstoppable, and entire team compositions revolved around a handful of dominant hybrids.
