It has a temperature controlled soldering iron that comes with multiple different tips, as well as a hot air re-work / re-flow setup where you can set the temperature and air flow amount. I've used it for basic soldering, as well as re-flowing the motherboard of a cell phone to fix a graphics problem with the screen. The hot air rework handle is also very useful for shrinking heat-shrink tubing or attaching low-temp solder/shrink butt connections. Although the unit doesn't have any fancy features (limited to: on/off, temp setting, air volume) it works very well, heats up quickly, and is very inexpensive. It comes with a few accessories (solder, desoldering braid, extra tips for the iron and hot air gun, sponge/steel for the soldering iron holder) that are useful, as well as a budget solder sucker which works, but should be upgraded to an engineers solder sucker at your first opportunity. Overall at this price point, I feel it provides excellent value.
