Hi Lovebirds! I've been bleaching my brows for a few months now and from the get-go I've been doing it myself because I was taught by Lorin V who's now one of the owners of Kapsalon in de Jordaan, together with Siko van Berkel. I did my best to do them justice! Halfway through the video I added blue bleach powder to the mix and i advice you to just use blue bleach powder. I've been using the L'Oreal quick blue extra strength for months and in my opinion the best! Next to that I use a developper in 6% or 20 VOL and mix it 1 to 1 with the powder. If you're bleaching for the first time, keep in mind you don't leave it on longer that 25-30 minutes. Keep a good eye on the progress. If your brows are still yellow-y after that timeframe, consider using a violet toner or silver shampoo before bleaching again.The Kat von D 24-hr super brow in "bleach" is amazing to cover brow root in the meantime. Repeat this process maximum twice a month if you want to keep hair or you'll break/burn everything off. If your skin is super sensitive, use a litte vaseline around the brow area to keep the bleach contained. However, beware of covering any hairs in vaseline because those won't bleach. I use a craft store brush because I dont want to ruin any of my make-up brushes. A silicone spoolie would be a good replacement if you don't have a craftstore brush handy. Remember to rinse your brows with water after the bleaching process so you don't leave any product behind!
