You can learn how to Crochet the Wave Stitch in this video tutorial. Hi i'm Donna Wolfe from Naztazia. This is a fun and neat wavy stitch that works great for a scarf, shawl, blanket, and handbag. It would also look good for a cold-weather or winter garment. You will need to already know how to crochet a chain, slip stitch, and half double crochet. This is a simple pattern to remember, since it alternates between slip stitches and half double crochet stitches. And all stitches are done in groups of five (5). Plus done in the BLO - back loops only. As far as the yarn, I have used this yarn in other stitch samples before, and the first question I get is, "What kind of yarn is that?" Actually, I am not sure. Because stitch samples are small squares that I make for videos, I don't use my good yarn. I usually use odds and ends from other projects. Or I use the clearance yarn from the bargain bin at my local craft store. And that's what this yarn is. Small skeins of no-name yarn that were on sale. They might have been mill ends. It reminds me a bit of the Caron Pantone Yarn, but I can't say for sure exactly what brand it really is. I'm also using a size H 5.0 mm crochet hook. I hope you enjoy this video!
