A regional roundtable discussion, moderated by Richard Zhang, MD, Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology, examined evolving treatment strategies across the prostate cancer continuum, including the use of triplet therapy in castration-sensitive disease, sequencing options in castration-resistant disease, and emerging modalities such as radiopharmaceuticals, PARP inhibitors, bispecifics, and novel radioisotopes. Dr. Zhang was joined by other practitioners at Fort Wayne Medical Oncology and Hematology, including Michael Epstein, MD; Ahad Sadiq, MD; Sunil Babu, MD; Ryan Gonzales, MD; and David Zimmerman, MD. In the third segment, they discuss systemic treatment strategies for castration-sensitive prostate cancer, focusing on how to choose between ADT alone, doublet therapy with an ARPI, and triplet therapy with ADT, an ARPI, and docetaxel. They highlight patient factors such as age, performance status, disease volume, Gleason score, and comorbidities to guide individualized treatment decisions and illustrate these choices with real-world patient cases.
