India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has made one of his most direct, data-driven public statements on terrorism in India, and it’s already triggering political, diplomatic, and strategic debate. Speaking at the Sardar Patel Memorial Lecture, Doval said that India has not witnessed a single major terror attack outside Jammu & Kashmir since 2013, crediting sustained intelligence operations, pre-emptive action, and a transformed security doctrine. Calling J&K a “theatre of proxy war” run by Pakistan, Doval made it clear that India has not just defended itself but has built deterrence, the ability to strike back. He also pointed to a dramatic 89% reduction in left-wing extremism since 2014. #ajitdoval #india #nationalsecurity #terrorism #pakistan #kashmir #counterterror #modigovt #doval #indiafirst #toi #bharat #toibharat #timesofindia #breakingnews #indianews —————————————————————————————————————————— TOI Bharat – Your Window to India And Its Neighbourhood TOI Bharat delivers the latest news, biggest voices, sharpest views and in-depth coverage of India’s political, social and economic landscape.
