gutter guards and gutter hedgehogs are very common, these are often installed to prevent leaves and debris from blocking the gutter, which can cause the gutters to overflow. Whilst gutter guards and gutter hedgehogs will prevent the gutters being blocked for a short while the gutters will still eventually get blocked. I’m now in the process of removing the gutter guards and gutter hedgehogs and will either get someone to periodically vacuum out the gutters or I will make something myself to vacuum out the gutters from floor level.
